TurboFire Newest Release from Beachbody

Beachbody has done it again and so has Chalene Johnson, fitness trainer from both TurboJam and ChaLENE Extreme. TurboFire is a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) program combined with some intense cardio kickboxing, body scuplting, and other high impact training all wrapped up into some amazing music to keep that heart rate going and your body moving.

This program will be released on Friday, June 18th through the Team Beachbody Coach network only meaning that it is available through Beachbody coaches ONLY until it is released to the public in a few weeks. Contact me or visit my website LetReneeHelpOnline.com to get more information or to order your 90 days fitness program, TurboFire. I tried this at our 2010 Coach Summit and let me tell you, this is going to be awesome! I can't wait to do it this Fall after my round of Insanity!

Day 6-8: Insanity Rocks

Hi everyone! I hope you had a very nice weekend. I sure did and I had a great weekend of workouts too. Saturday which was Day 6 was Pure Cardio and boy is that workout just that. You start just like any other workout with a gradually intensified 9 minute warm-up followed by a stretch then 14 minutes of pure hell, I like to refer to it as! I think Pure Hell would be a better name suited for that particular workout because unlike the other workouts in this series, you don't get a break at all in between the sets you just get to keep going! You do 14, 1-minute exercises ranging from switch kicks to push-up jacks and in that minute you try to do as many as you can. Today, I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite workouts now because it is right to the point. You get in, you get out and there is no "lolly gagging" in between! I did so much better and only had to take about 2 breaks for about 15 seconds each time during the entire 35 minute workout. Go Me!

Day 7 was of course a day of rest and I was really appreciative of that too. I didn't eat the best this day because we went out of town shopping and I didn't make the best choices. Guess that is why they make tomorrow so you can be sure to get back on track the next day!

Day 8 was supposed to be Power & Resistance but because I forgot that DVD in town at my office I just replaced it with Cardio Circuit and will do Power and Resistance on Thursday instead. I hope that it won't make that big of a difference; I hope! Cardio Circuit is my least favorite workout....not really sure why but it is. I think it might be because of the last circuit and all of the ski hops and in/outs we have to do. My shoulders are getting stronger but that is probably the place that I lack the most strength when doing these moves. I am getting better though. I made it through and tonight, I have Pure Cardio...yikes! That "stuff" is bananas ya'll as Shaun T puts it! Dig Deeper and Get Fit or Get Out! Have a super Tuesday!

Day 5: Cardio Plyometric Circuit; Oh My.

It didn't take me long to find my new least favorite workout during my first month of Round 2 of Insanity. Cardio Plyometric Circuit is the new one that has replaced Pure Cardio that I dreaded all last round. Pure Cardio is one of my favorites behind Day 7 which of course is a day of REST! Hahah!

I can't honestly believe that Shaun T and Beachbody decided to put this workout on Day 2 as people just get out of the Fit Test. I think it would really scare people away but if you can get through this workout you can get through the rest of the month! You of course are encouraged to watch your heart rate and take breaks when you need to which I absolutely have to do. I am doing it less often but still taking a break here and there. The thing that gets most tired in this particular workout is my shoulders and arms during the 2nd circuit starting with Level 1 drills, followed by ski abs, then in and outs! Urgh. Those have to be my least favorite as not only do my shoulders start to kill but so do my quadriceps. Killer!

I was able to do the entire first circuit (30 seconds; 4 moves) without stopping the entire 3 rounds so I was very excited about that. I think the main difference is that I am starting this program in the Summer and I normally workout in my office (in a town I rent in) and not in my home which doesn't have central A/C. I could really tell I could perform with a lot more intensity with air! Who woulda thunk? LOL!

Anyway, it was a great workout and I got through it without any injuries. That is always a good deal. Bringing it with Pure Cardio tomorrow morning! Have a great weekend everyone!

Day 4: Cardio Recovery--Breeze?

Here is my starting picture for Round 2. I really don't have much weight to lose but I would really like to get more definition in my arms and tone up my legs/butt and stomach a lot more. I will NEVER be a skinny mini nor do I want to be but I do want to be as toned and ripped as I can. Insanity will get me there for sure!

Last night I did Cardio Recovery and surprisingly I found it much easier than anticipated. I have been a bit stiff and sore the past 2 days but much less than I would have been w/out my Results and Recovery Formula that's for sure. I was able to do much more of the standing lunges and the pulses than before without my legs giving out on me so that is great news! I am very happy about that!

My core is also much MUCH stronger because I was able to complete almost all of the floor work and before I would do about 5-6 and would have to stop and take a short break before jumping back in! I can't wait to see what I am like after the first month of doing this program the 2nd time!

Insanity: A New Round, Starting Again! Am I Insane? Probably!

Hi guys--gosh, I am terrible about staying on top of my blog posts and for that I apologize! I have been so busy building my Team Beachbody business that I have just set this aside for a bit. I haven't been skipping my workouts though which is great news! I just can't bring myself to do that, ever unless of course it is Sunday! I decide that I needed structure again so I decided to start ANOTHER round of Insanity by Shaun T. I thouroughly enjoyed the first round I did last Fall and therefore will do another 60 days of intense cardio conditioning with Mr. Shaun Thompson himself. I love this training style and the way he pushes me to do more than I ever thought possible. I love it!

So, I am behind already on posting my workouts but I promise to do better. I started my new round on Monday, June 7th and am already on Day 4: Cardio Recovery. Don't let the name "recovery" fool you because it is not easy by any means! It is a nice break but definitely not a rest day!

Here are my starting FIT TEST results:
Switch Kicks: 110
Power Jacks: 56
Power Knees: 105
Power Jumps: 11
Suicide Jumps: 15
Push-up Jacks: 22
Low Plank Obliques: 42

There you have it all! Wish me the best of luck and check back often!
